CSR by Danovel
Danovel believes in giving back to society no matter how small it is.
As Danovel grows in our upholstery business of perfecting our craft, we too want to bless others. It is the case where we are blessed to bless others. Since the 1960s as Danovel grew in Singapore, our country has progressed to a flourishing nation, successful, strong and influential in the world map. Nevertheless it is inevitable that some groups of people may be left behind. However they can be brought along our journey of success if we do our part, then our nation will be even much stronger. With the given resources that we have Danovel will extend our help to the needy and marginalised we want to grow to impact others first for the people in our organisation then to the people around us.
Majulah Singapore.
Willing Hearts Kitchen
A secular, non-affiliated charity, Willing Hearts is wholly run by volunteers, apart from a handful of staff. It operates a soup kitchen that prepares, cooks and distributes about 6,500 daily meals to over 40 locations island wide, 365 days a year. Beneficiaries include the elderly, the disabled, low income families, children from single parent families or otherwise poverty stricken families, and migrant workers in Singapore.
Willing Hearts is a registered as a society with the Ministry of Home Affairs since February 2005 and as a charity with the Ministry of Ministry of Social and Family Development since December 2008.
Several Danovel employees has been extending their helping hands weekly in the early mornings before work to help out in the Willing Hearts Kitchen to cook, pack, carry and distribute food to the needy. Not only it provided for the beneficiaries, but it also united our employees as we serve together.
Nepal Earth Quake
The 2015 earthquake in Nepal scale of 7.9 has been so devastating and the death tolls climbing above 7,000 and beyond. The damage is extensive in every aspect, entire villages razed to the ground rendering thousands of thousands homeless, people trapped, buried and scores of people injured.
Danovel had raised a shy amount close to $20,000 to support the building of tents, provide blankets, clothes and food for the nepalese who have lost their homes and were unable to quickly get back on their lives. We are thankful for the 90 over supporters online and offline supporting our cause to help them directly.
Mask4SG
